Replace the Pallet
Pallets have a lot of flaws. They break, crack and fail – it’s just a matter of time. They also attract rodents, insects, mold, rot and moisture. Pallets are heavy and contain nails that ultimately protrude. Ultimately, that means injuries, product damage, pests and a lot of surface contamination. Oh, and you paid 6 to 17 times more for that pallet than a REPSCO SuperSheet.
Replacing pallets with SuperSheets eliminates damage – both to product and your workforce. Gain stability, predictability, drop worker’s comp costs and eliminate product damage. Transition to SuperSheets TODAY.
Support the Pallet
If you have to use wooden pallets, supplement them with a protective layer. Putting a SuperSheet between the pallet and the load (raw material, WIP, finished goods, etc.) adds a clean, strong and stabilizing barrier between the wooden pallet and the valuable material. Why is this important?
Wooden pallets have contaminants, nails that protrude and areas of weakness. SuperSheets drastically increase stability and prevent damage that would otherwise occur. So if you need wooden pallets, you probably also need SuperSheets. And using SuperSheets may extend the life of your expensive wooden pallets by reducing or preventing rapid wear and pallet damage.
Cap Sheet On Top
Most of the focus on product loads is on the bottom. The heavier the load, the more attention is given on ensuring the lower support mechanism is solid. But not focusing on the stability at the top end can result in very expensive, very painful issues. Some of the worlds largest corporations have experienced this very problem and have contracted REPSCO to help ensure the load is stable top and bottom (which also adds stability around the sides).
By adding this layer up top, you reduce or eliminate:
- Sway
- Shifting
- Settling
- Swinging
And this ensures the product stays in position, especially when in transit (containers, trailers, railcars or LTL loads). SuperSheets serve as a cost-effective insurance policy and a provider of peace of mind – to you and your customer.
Tier Sheets
Space is a valuable commodity, whether in your warehouse or in a freight container. So, all companies look to utilize more of that vertical space. But this results in some challenges, including:
- Load shifting
- Load swaying
- Loading and unloading challenges
- Space and weight underutilization
It would seem a company has to choose between product/worker safety and optimized transportation costs.
Not anymore.
Wooden pallets and fiber (paper) sheets are no longer the only options to separate loads and increase ‘between-the-load’ stability. Better performing 100% recycled plastic SuperSheets are now widely available. Ultra cost-effective and highly configurable (strength, flexibility, rigidity and friction coefficient), SuperSheets stabilize your product and allow for higher – yet more stable – loading and movement. Move more product (optimize freight cost – per load or per pound) and increase stability and product safety along the way.
Why Choose Plastic Over Wood?
